ORDINANCE NO. 3
AN ORDINANCE FIXING A TAX FOR EVERY PERSON, FIRM OR CORPORATION ENGAGE IN THE MANUFACTURE OF GUITARS AND ALL KINDS OF STRING INSTRUMENTS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PAGADIAN, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN THAT:
SECTION 1. A tax of Twenty Pesos (P20.00) a year is hereby fixed for every person, firm or corporation who engage in the manufacture of guitar and all kinds of string instruments in the Municipality of Pagadian, Province of Zamboanga.
SECTION 2. Before operating his establishment, the operators mentioned in Section 1 hereof, shall apply for a permit from the Municipal Mayor and shall pay the corresponding license fee to the Municipal Treasurer.
SECTION 3. Any person, firm or corporation found violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not less than Ten Pesos (P10.00), nor more than Fifty Pesos (P50.00), or by imprisonment of not less than Five (5) days, nor more than Twenty (20) days, or both, fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the court.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
