AN ORDINANCE FIXING A TAX OF EIGHTY PESOS A YEAR FOR EVERY DEALER OF GASOLINE OPERATING IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PAGADIAN, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR.






BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN THAT:







      SECTION 1. A tax of Eighty Pesos (P80.00) a year is hereby fixed for every dealer in gasoline operating in the Municipality of Pagadian, Province of Zamboanga.




      SECTION 2. Before operating his business, the dealer mentioned in Section 1 hereof, shall apply for a permit from the Municipal Mayor and shall pay the corresponding license fee to the Municipal Treasurer.




	SECTION 3. Any person found violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not less than Twenty Pesos (P20.00), nor more than One Hundred Pesos (P100.00), or by imprisonment of not less than Ten (10) days, nor more than Fifty (50) days, or both, fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the court.

	SECTION 4.  This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
