ORDINANCE NO. 126













AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING ALL TRANSIENT PEDDLERS AND ALL OWNER PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS COMING TO THIS MUNICIPALITY TO REPORT TO THE OFFICE OF THE CHIEF OF POLICE FOR IDENTIFICATION AND REGISTRATION PURPOSES IMMEDIATELY UPON THEIR ARRIVAL IN THE POBLACION, THIS MUNICIPALITY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.






BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN THAT:







      SECTION 1. It shall be the duty of all transient peddlers or private individuals coming to this municipality to report to the office of the Chief of Police for purposes of identification and registration immediately upon their arrival in the Poblacion, this municipality, except those person whose purpose is to stay in the town for not more than Ten (10) days to visit their relatives.




      SECTION 2. THE IDENTIFICATION AND REGISTRATION:  Provided in Section 1 of this ordinance shall involve the investigation of papers or credentials of the parties concerned, the registration of their names and personal; circumstances, their finger printing, the presentation of their pictures or photographs and the furnishing of such other informations as the Chief of Police or his duly authorized representative may consider necessary to require of them.  All of these shall be performed in the Police Station under the direction and close supervision of the Chief of Police, immediately upon arrival therein of the party or parties concerned.




	SECTION 3. All hotel or lodging house owners or operators shall report to the Office of the Chief of Police the names of any and all persons or lodgers within Twelve (12) hours after they have been accepted and registered in their hotels or lodging houses, giving full particulars of each and every one of them in their reports.


	SECTION 4. The chief of Police shall have in his office of Registry Book and file properly kept for the purpose of this ordinance.

	SECTION 5. Any person or persons found violating any provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction be punished by fine of not less than Twenty Pesos (P20.00), or by imprisonment of not less than Twenty (20) days, nor more than Two (2) months, or both fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the court.











































































































	SECTION 6. Any ordinance or parts of an ordinance that may be in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance shall be hereby repealed.
