ORDINANCE NO. 123
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION ONE OF ORDINANCE NUMBERED EIGHTY SIX, AS AMENDED BY SECTION ONE OF ORDINANCE NUMBERED EIGHTY-EIGHT .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN THAT:
SECTION 1. Section one of the Municipal ordinance numbered eighty six, as amended by Section one of the Municipal Ordinance numbered Eighty-eight, which reads:
"It shall be unlawful for any passenger or cargo motor vehicle to park on any street, highway or place within the limits of the Poblacion of the Pagadian, this municipality, except in the parking place, which is 10 meters by 25 meters, in the northern part of the Pagadian Market Site extending from a point 5 meters from the Artesian Well to the East along the National Highway. All vehicles parked in the parking place herein indicated shall be lined up facing the street" shall be read as follows:
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any passenger or cargo vehicle to park in any portion of the Pagadian Market site to avoid obstruction of business or in any street within the limits of the Poblacion Pagadian to avoid obstructions of traffic.
SECTION 2. Any person found violating the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not less than Five Pesos (P5.00), nor more than Ten (10) days, or both fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the court.
SECTION 3. Any ordinance or parts of an ordinance which are in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance shall be hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
