ORDINANCE NO. 118
AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING RULES AND REGULATIONS ON THE PROPER USE OF THE PUMP WELLS IN THE BARRIO AND IN THE POBLACION, THIS MUNICIPALITY, AND THE PENALTY HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN THAT:
SECTION 1. Single line of the cans shall always be the procedure. The last water fetcher to arrive must place his cans behind the last can in the line. No can or cans shall be inserted into the line or take advantage of those priorities.
SECTION 2. Persons selling water to the public shall be allowed to have two (2) cans and must observe strictly the rule of placing his cans behind the last can in the line. If he cannot wait, he must fetch water from Lumbia Spring, in the case of the Poblacion. Cans found not in the single line near the pump well shall be confiscated.
SECTION 3. Any person, young or old fetching water with small containers, such as coffee pots, drinking glass, or any small container with a capacity of three (3) glasses may just receive water from the pump well without observing the line.
SECTION 4. It is strictly prohibited for a person or persons to bathe and to wash clothes or any dirty thing in the pump well.
SECTION 5. Any person or persons found violating the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction pay a fine of Two Pesos (P2.00) for the first offense, Four Pesos (P4.00) for the second offense, Six Pesos (P6.00) for the third offense, etc. or suffer imprisonment of one (1) day for every Two Pesos (P2.00) fine.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
