ORDINANCE NO. 113






AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING EVERY PERSON TO PAY A FEE OF ONE PESO FOR EVERY CERTIFICATION OF GOOD CONDUCT ISSUED TO HIM BY THE JUSTICE OF THE PEACE, THE MUNICIPAL MAYOR AND THE CHIEF OF POLICE OF THE MUNICIPAL OF PAGADIAN, IN CONNECTION WITH HIS APPLICATION FOR A LICENSE TO POSSESS A FIREARM.




BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN THAT:




      SECTION 1. For every certificate of good conduct issued by the justice of the peace, the Municipal Mayor and the Chief of Police in the Municipality of Pagadian in connection with an application to possess firearm, the applicant concerned shall pay a fee of One Pesos (P1.00) to the Municipal Treasurer.






	SECTION 2. The certificate of good conduct shall be applied by the applicant himself.  He shall satisfactorily prove to the officials concerned that he has never been convicted of any crime.



	SECTION 3. Any person found violating the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not less than Five Pesos (P5.00), nor more than Ten (P10.00) Pesos, or by imprisonment of not less than (5) days nor more than Ten (10) days, or both in the discretion of the court.





	SECTION 4. Any ordinance or parts thereof that may be in conflict with this ordinance shall be hereby repealed.

	SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
