ORDINANCE NO. 100
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NUMBERED EIGHTY-EIGHT, APPROVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL UNDER RESOLUTION NO. 139, SERIES OF 1946, AND THE OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN THAT:
SECTION 1. Section two of Municipal Ordinance Numbered Eighty-Eight, approved by the Municipal Council under Resolution No. 139, series of 1946, which ways "Section 2- The speed of all motor vehicles within the limits of the Poblacion of Pagadian, this municipality, shall be limited to not more than ten (10) miles per hour to avoid accident shall read as follows:
Section 1. The speed of all motor vehicles within the limits of Poblacion of Pagadian, this Municipality, shall be limited to not more than five (5) miles per hours, to avoid accident;
SECTION 2. Chauffeurs of all motor vehicles are prohibited to make a long and unnecessary blowing of the horns of the vehicles during the time from 4:00 A.M., to avoid disturbance of the tranquility of the town and the people in particular;
SECTION 3. Any person found violating the provisions of this ordinance, shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not less than five (P5.00) Pesos, nor more than Fifty (P50.00) Pesos, or by imprisonment for not less than five (5) days, nor more than Thirty (30) days, or both, fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the court.
SECTION 4. Any ordinance or parts of an ordinance, which will be contrary to, and in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance shall be hereby repealed.
b This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
