Republic of the Philippines PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR P A G A D I A N ORDINANCE NO. 95 AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING ALL OWNERS, TENANTS AND CLAIMANTS, TO KEEP AND MAINTAIN THEIR RESPECTIVE LOTS AND YARDS WITHIN THE LIMITS OF THE POBLACION, FREE OF WEEDS, OR TICKERS AND IN GOOD SANITARY CONDITIONS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN THAT: SECTION 1. All owners, tenants or claimants of lots located within the limits of the Poblacion, this municipality, are hereby required to keep and maintain their respective lots and yards, free of weeds, or thickets ad in good sanitary conditions. SECTION 2. The limit or boundary between the lot belonging to different owners or claimants shall be clearly indicated by fence or by any similar structure to determine they are of their lots and their responsibilities herein set forth. SECTION 3. It shall be unlawful for anybody to prevent nay health officer from entering and inspecting any lot or yard in the performance of his official duties. SECTION 4. When a lot or yard is covered with weeds, or thickets, or found not to be in good sanitary conditions, the health officer shall notify in writing its owner, tenant or claimant of the violation of this ordinance. In the said notification there shall be clearly stated the specific things to be done by the lot owner, tenant or claimant concerned, and the reasonable period within which they should be accomplished. Failure on his part to comply with the sanitary order or requirement within the period specified in the notification, shall hold him liable to prosecution before the court by the Health concerned. SECTION 5. Any person found violating the provisions of this ordinance, shall upon conviction, pay a fine of not less than five pesos (P5.00), nor more than Ten Pesos (P10.00), or by imprisonment for not less than five (5) days, nor more than Ten (10) days, or both, imprisonment and fine in the discretion of the court. SECTION 6. Any ordinance or parts of an ordinance that may be in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance, shall be hereby repealed. SECTION 7.
