AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION ONE OF ORDINANCE NUMBERED EIGHTY-SIX, APPROVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL UNDER ITS CURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 117, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.


BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN THAT:

	SECTION 1. Section 1 of Municipal Ordinance Numbered Eighty-Six approved by the Municipal Council under its current Resolution No. 117, which say "Section 1-  It shall be unlawful for any passenger or cargo vehicles engaged in business transportation to park on any street or highway within the limits of poblacion of this municipality, except on the right side of Bonifacio and Jamisola Streets, and on the right side of Jamisola Street from the said intersection of the National Highway going to the wharf, shall read as follows.

	SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any passenger or cargo motor vehicles to park on any street, highway or place within the limits of the poblacion of Pagadian, this municipality, except in the parking place, which is 10 meters, on the northern part of the Pagadian Market site extending from a point 5 meters from the Artesian Well to the west along the national highway.  All vehicles parked in the parking place herein indicated shall be lined up facing the street.


	SECTION 2. The speed of all motor vehicles within the limits of the poblacion of Pagadian, this municipality, shall be limited to not more than ten (10) miles per hour to avoid accident.

	SECTION 3. Any person found violating the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not less than five (P5.00) pesos, nor more than ten (P10.00) pesos, or by imprisonment for not less than five (5) days, nor more than ten (10) days, or both, fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the court.

	SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
