Republic of the Philippines PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR P A G A D I A N ORDINANCE NO. 84 AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING RETAIL STORE-OWNERS AND VENDORS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PAGADIAN, TO PLACE TAGS ON THE GOODS, COMMODITIES OR ARTICLES THEY SELL, FIXING THE PRICES OF EACH OF THEM, AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN THAT: SECTION 1. All owners of retail stores and establishment and vendors in the municipality of Pagadian are required by the present ordinance to place tags on the products, articles, goods and commodities they sell fixing the prices of each one of the said articles or products, whether by the "kilo", by the "ganta", by the hundred, by the "dozen", by the "pieces", or "unit", which word shall be plainly marked on the tags below the prices fixed for each articles. SECTION 2. It shall be unlawful for any retail store-owners and vendors to charge a price greater than which is marked in the price tag: PROVIDED, that nothing herein contained shall authorize the placing on the tags and the collection of prices in excess of those fixed by existing laws or executive orders of the President of the President. SECTION 3. Any violation of this ordinance, shall be punished with a fine of not more than P25.00 for the violation; a fine of not more than (P50.00) Pesos for the second violation, a fine of not more than P75.00 plus the cancellation of the license of the store owner or vendor, for the third violation.
