Republic of the Philippines PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR P A G A D I A N ORDINANCE NO. 81 AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING LARGE CATTLE OWNERS OR DEALERS TRANSPORTING LARGE CATTLE THROUGH THE MUNICIPALITY OF PAGADIAN, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA, TO SUBMIT THEIR ANIMALS AND PAPERS TO THE MUNICIPAL TREASURER FOR INSPECTION AND VERIFICATION AND TO PAY THE CORRESPONDING VERIFICATION FEE FIXED HEREIN. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF PAGADIAN THAT: SECTION 1. It shall be the duty of all large cattle owners or dealers transporting large cattle from one place to another (outside of this municipality) through the territorial jurisdiction of this municipality to report to the Municipal Treasurer and submit to him their animals and papers thereof for inspection and verification. SECTION 2. For the inspection and verification of every animal and its corresponding papers, the owner or dealer concerned shall pay to the municipal treasurer a verification fee of fifty centavos (P0.50). SECTION 3. It is found that owner's or dealer's claim of ownership over any animal he is transporting by is not supported by legal certificates, the animal concerned shall be held by the Municipal Treasurer for investigation to ascertain the real ownership the real ownership thereof. SECTION 4. Any person found violating the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not less than Twenty Pesos (P20.00) nor more than Sixty Pesos (P60.00), or by imprisonment for not less than Twenty (20) days, nor more than Two (2) months, or both fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the court.
