Archive Coverage & Data Quality

What this archive holds today, what it does not yet hold, and how to tell the difference — published so that a missing record is never mistaken for a measure that was never adopted.

At a glance

Every figure is read live from the same index that powers public search, at the moment this page loaded. A dash means the figure could not be read — it never means zero.

  • 1,078 Ordinances indexed Findable by number, title and full text
  • 3,324 Resolutions indexed Findable by number, title and full text
  • 10,612 Resolution documents held Files on the archive server, indexed or not
  • 1945–2026 Years represented 82 years carry at least one indexed record

Known gap: older resolutions are held but not yet indexed

The office holds 10,612 resolution documents, while 3,324 are represented in the search index. Roughly 7,288 documents are on file but not yet findable by search.

In practice, indexed resolutions currently begin at 2019. Resolutions adopted between 1945 and 2018 may well exist in the council folders listed below even though a search returns nothing for those years.

If you are looking for a resolution from an earlier council, please ask the Office of the Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlungsod rather than concluding that no such measure was adopted.

Coverage by year

Indexed records per year, most recent first. Bars are drawn in proportion to the busiest year and repeat the figure beside them, so nothing depends on colour or on seeing the chart.

Records currently represented in the search index, by year of adoption. Read live on 28 August 2026, 10:06 am.

What these words mean

Held
A document file exists on the archive server.
Indexed
Its number, title and text have been read into the search index, so a public search can find it. Held and indexed are not the same thing.
None indexed
No record of that type and year is in the index today. Measures may still have been adopted, and may exist on paper or as an un-indexed file.
A dash
The figure could not be read when the page loaded. It is never a zero.

Request a record, or report a gap

If a measure you know exists cannot be found here, that is useful information and the office would like to hear it. Please contact the Office of the Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlungsod, City Hall of Pagadian, with the record type, number and year if you have them, or the subject and approximate date if you do not.

Under Section 469 of the Local Government Code the Secretary keeps the journals and records of the Sanggunian and furnishes certified copies of public records. A file downloaded from this archive is an informational copy; a certified copy must be requested from the office.
